Usher Board Ministry

“For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness” (Psalm 84:10). As the modern-day doorkeepers of The Mount, our ushers are the first to greet members and visitors. We serve with joy, dedicated to creating a welcoming and organized environment where everyone can experience the goodness of God’s house.

The Usher Board Ministry stands on the truth of Psalm 84:10, believing that even the humblest service in God’s house is a great privilege. Our mission is to provide a warm welcome and maintain a seamless, organized environment during every service. By greeting every guest and assisting the congregation, we help prepare hearts to enter His courts with praise.

In alignment with our keystone scripture, Psalm 84:10, the Usher Board Ministry embraces the honor of serving as “gatekeepers” for our church family. We are the first to welcome you to The Mount, striving to assist in creating an atmosphere of order and peace. Our goal is to ensure that every visitor and member feels at home in God’s presence from the moment they walk through the doors.
